I think one of the hardest things to try to explain to people is Sleeping Bear Dunes. When you tell people you spent the day climbing the dunes it does not sound all that impressive but once you see the height on these dunes you understand. Here is K and JW running down the dune.

This was taken at a different part of the park. This is the main dune that ends in Lake Michigan. Brian and I climbed it 10 years ago. Trust me it is a lot more impressive in person. And those specs below K are people.
